Our goal is to give killed ideas some overdue recognition. We want the best of the best, and we’re sure you’ve got it. Any assets you submit will be incorporated into a book by our designers, or used on our blog (or both), and we'll make sure your ideas shine.
By submitting, you are giving us permission to use your submission at killedIDEAS.com, in KI Volume 1 - or both. You know the legal spiel – rights to the media you provide (images, storyboards, video, cocktail napkin sketches) must be owned by you, your team or your employer. If you use any licensed artwork, by submitting you certify that your license applies to digital or print media rights too. While you may think you know the spiel, our lawyers want you to click this link anyway just to make sure.
Client confidentiality is a tricky issue. We don't require that you disclose your client during the submission process. Branded work is the ideal, and we need the context to identify the greatness here – the business case, product category, competitive environment, etc. The more context given, the more your work shines brightly among a galaxy of stellar ideas.
We need your best ideas by 11:59pm PST on March 31st 2009. No exceptions.
Let us know about your idea, why it was killed and why we'd be crazy not to bring it back to life here. Visual assets help us tell the story, so we want the best you’ve got. And we'll need your contact and agency information.
All submissions must be made online, but you can download a sample submission form here (PDF 360KB).
